Is Two Really Better Than One? Meet the Under Eyebrow Trend

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-EYEBROWS, MICROBLADING, THREADING, EYEBROWS-ON-FLEEK,25French women always seem to be leading the pack when it comes to beauty trends. From revolutionary skin care programs, to the cat-eye winged eyeliner and wispy bangs, French women led the rest of us to trendy new looks. When it comes to eyebrow trends, French beauty gurus are no further behind.

This time, as seen on Pinterest, the French are taking the bold brow to a whole other level with the under eyebrow. According to Allure Magazine, the under eyebrow, also called the “painted brow” and “Eyebrow 2.0,” is a beauty trend that “paints a brow line underneath your own brow.” Using liners, liquids, and shadows in various textures and colors, a line is traced along the crease of the brow, sometimes very close to the brow and other times slightly below the brow, to create the under brow look.

On designer’s fall 2016 runways, models have been seen with under eyebrow looks in bold hues and glittery designs, which stylists and makeup artists believe enhances the natural brow’s arch and draws attention to the eye itself. Makeup artist Alexander James called brows “the feature that give the face the most expression and character,” and thinks that for this reason, the brow should be played up in fun and unique ways, especially with color.

“When you play [your eyebrows] up or play with color near them, you create a specific, personality driven look, “ James added.

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-EYEBROWS, MICROBLADING, THREADING, EYEBROWS-ON-FLEEK,20To achieve the look like an under eyebrow pro, Cosmo suggests you “fill in a brow shape below your actual brows, or freehand it by tracing underneath your eyebrow.” Because completely freehanding a brow can be intimidating, consider using a stencil for your first few tries.

While adding a bold swipe of blue along your brow bone doesn’t necessarily alter your eyebrows themselves, it does draw more attention to them. To truly nail the under eyebrow, make sure your brows are shaped and filled, so the eye is eventually drawn to a bold work of art, framed by a shimmery, bright under brow. To create your best brows, experiment with the wide array of brow brushes, pencils, and gels on the market, or consider something more permanent and hassle free, like microblading or henna brows. To keep your brows in shape, try threading as an alternative to tweezing.

Stock up on your favorite bright and glittery products, and keep your eye out for the newest eyebrow trend to make its way to American runways and stores. For more information regarding brow trends, [Click Here].

Try Tinting Brows for a Fuller, Bolder Look

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-EYEBROWS, MICROBLADING, THREADING, EYEBROWS-ON-FLEEK,172016 is the year for big, bold brows. But, brow grooming doesn’t just help us stay trendy, it also means we can opt for less makeup and maintain a low maintenance beauty routine, if we so choose. Eyebrow tinting is one professional option that will enhance your natural brows, for a bolder, more defined look.

Unlike most grooming options, eyebrow tinting does not actually remove any hair, though it can be done in addition to hair removal. Instead, tinting uses permanent vegetable dye to amplify brow color, shape, and thickness. The results are immediate, and without redness or irritation, your tinted brows are ready to be flaunted right after the treatment.

“Tinting instantly makes you look groomed and adds more structure,” said Umbreen Sheikh, owner of Wink Brow Bar in New York City. “You don’t have to fill them in everyday or use powder, so it’s also convenient.”

The most obvious benefit of tinting is enhancing the color of your brows, making it an especially enticing option for fair-haired beauties. “Tinting is ideal if you were born with pale, fine Renaissance brows because you get a stronger looking definition and edge to your look,” said Maribeth Madron, makeup artist and Maybelline New York brow expert.

But, that’s not to say that those with dark eyes, skin, or brows can’t benefit from tinting too. With a range of shade options, dark brown is the most popular choice for a bold, but natural look. “Most people benefit from going a bit darker or richer than their natural color,” Kristie Streicher, a Los Angeles-based brow expert, said. She, like most brow wizzes, suggests going one to two shades darker than your natural hair color.

Tinting can also help transition your entire look to suit a totally new hair color. Other than enhancing your brow shade, tinting also gives your brows a thicker, more voluminous look. In the midst of the bold brow trend, tinting can rescue naturally fine or over-plucked brows. “The dye tends to coat the hair, so afterward the diameter of each hair is bigger. It’s almost like putting a gloss on your head; it’s going to make your hair look thicker and healthier,” Madron said.

Tinting also helps to grab and enhance the fine blonde brow hairs that you probably didn’t even realize you had. This is why it is such an appealing option for those who feel their brows are too short. A professional will apply the tint so that it coats the fine hairs at the tail of the brow, to create a more elongated look.

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-EYEBROWS, MICROBLADING, THREADING, EYEBROWS-ON-FLEEK,19Like any other beauty process, brow tinting requires upkeep. “Brow tints are similar to a glaze on your hair. The tint slowly begins to fade after two weeks, and will be totally gone after week four,” said Jared Bailey of Benefit Cosmetics.

Tinted brows fade faster than more permanent options, like permanent makeup or microblading, and may still require some powder or gel in your problem areas. But, tinting is a great option for those who aren’t ready to make a huge brow commitment.

It is important that you have your brows tinted by a licensed professional, with training and experience. Ask your friends for referrals and read reviews on the internet to select a stylist you like and trust. For more information regarding tinting brows, [Click Here].

Microblading Creates the Latest Brow Buzz

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-EYEBROWS, MICROBLADING, THREADING, EYEBROWS-ON-FLEEK,2Almost everywhere you look, the shelves are stocked with new eyebrows kits, pencils, powders, and gels, all claiming to help you build the Audrey Hepburn brows of your dreams. The latest eyebrow-transforming product is not found on the shelves, though. Microblading, a semi-permanent brow enhancement, is unlike any other type of eyebrow treatment on the market.

Microblading is much different than the waxing, threading, and tweezing that many of us are so familiar with, because when done by a professional, microblading has the power to totally transform any type of brow into a bold, perfectly arched work of art. Though the semi-permanent process comes at a steeper price than traditional brow grooming solutions, the brag-worthy results last between one and three years, and the permanent makeup artist can tailor the look to suit your facial structure and personal taste.

“Microblading is an advanced brow embroidery technique whereby a super-fine row of needles is used to create thin, hair-like marks on the skin by depositing pigment under the skin,” explained Piert Aava, who is known as “The Eyebrow Doctor.” “A form of permanent makeup, microblading is ideal for conjuring up the look of naturally full, realistic-looking brows,” she said.

Unlike other forms of permanent makeup that often create blurred, unnatural looks, microblading uses fine lines and strokes that mimic real hair to create a full, refined, and natural look. Aava suggests microblading for anyone who hates filling in their brows, has thinning brows, or wants to recreate their brow look (unless they are nursing or pregnant). The process takes about two hours and costs around $900, depending on your location, salon, and artist.

Before the actual procedure, you will visit with your artist for a consultation, where he or she will discuss shape, size, arch, and color. Then, before the actual procedure begins, the brow area will be numbed to minimize discomfort. Though pain varies from client to client, Aava said, “Most clients say it feels like a scratchy brow pencil on their skin.”

Next, the artist will create the new brow shape with pencil, so it can be adjusted as needed to create your perfect brow. Finally, the pigment will be placed into the skin using a ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-EYEBROWS, MICROBLADING, THREADING, EYEBROWS-ON-FLEEK,3handheld tool with several small needles in the tip to make precise, hair-like strokes.

After the procedure, the area surrounding your brows may be slightly red or swollen, but this won’t last long, and for many, the skin and brows are ready to show off right away. “The pigment may have a slight reddish tone to it in the beginning, which will go away once the skin has healed,” Aava said. The expert also explained that if a client is dissatisfied with the results, the pigment can be removed with a laser.

Aava emphasizes that microblading, while long lasting, does not affect hair growth. You will still need to tweeze your brows, but the shape created by the artist will give you a guideline for where and where not to tweeze. To keep your new brows looking selfie-ready, you will likely need to visit your artist for a touch up every 12 months or so. For more information regarding microblading, [Click Here].

Replace Your Makeup With These Trendy Beauty Solutions This Summer

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-EYEBROWS, MICROBLADING, THREADING, EYEBROWS-ON-FLEEK,16Achieve the bronzed goddess look you’ve always dreamed of by trying out some of this summer’s most popular beauty trends. Microblading, eyelash extensions, and airbrush tanning will elevate your natural beauty and help you maintain a low maintenance beauty routine throughout the summer months.

Step aside brow gel—microblading is the latest way to get full, natural-looking brows without makeup. The microblading process involves a trained technician using a handheld tool to apply fine, hair-like strokes of pigment to the top layer of skin. The process is similar to tattooing, but different ink and tools are used. The semi-permanent pigment lasts between a year and 18 moths, if cared for properly.

“It’s not a traditional shaded tattoo,” said Lauren Prats, owner and founder of Hi Brow Beauty Bar. “It’s going to have a softer appearance and it really does look like hair. When I show clients their eyebrows, they’re like, “What’s the hair? What’s the tattoo?”

The entire process lasts about 90 minutes and costs between $250 and $350, though both factors vary depending on location and salon. Most technicians recommend a touch-up four to six weeks after the initial appointment to fill in any sparse areas. To ensure the look lasts, Prats recommends her clients avoid soaking the tub, sun exposure, steam, and exercise for at least five days following the procedure.

Eyelash extensions are a great alternative to waterproof mascara, especially in the summer. An eyebrow expert will place a minimum of 100 individual lashes along the lash line to make lashes look fuller. An appointment typically takes about two hours and costs between $200 and $250.

“We use high-quality synthetic individual lashes secured to your lashes with medical-grade adhesive,” Karen Adjmi, co-owner of Earthsavers salon in New Orleans, said. “We really like to do natural lashes,” she added. “That doesn’t mean not full, but [they] fit the person’s face.”

Adjmi emphasized the importance of telling your technician exactly how you’d like your lashes to look, as both very glamorous and very natural looks can be achieved. She says that lash extensions are waterproof and last about four to six weeks, but spending time in the pool or ocean will mean a shorter life span for the extensions.

Airbrush tans have come a long way in the last few years. Many tanning salons now offer organic solutions that can be safely sprayed directly onto the skin, serving as a welcome summertime replacement for heavy foundations and cakey bronzers.

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-EYEBROWS, MICROBLADING, THREADING, EYEBROWS-ON-FLEEK,15“When sprayed on the face, you can go without makeup because [an airbrush tan] gives you that natural color and is forgiving and covers your blemishes,” said Monique Bonnaffons, owner of Fini Beauty Boutique. “It doesn’t give you an orange tint. It’s very natural looking.”

Bonnaffons explained that spending time in the sun may cause the airbrush color to fade faster, but the color will definitely not fade immediately, and typically lasts about 10 days. For more information regarding beauty trends this summer, [Click Here].

Permanent Eyebrow Makeup Changed Her Life

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, MICROBLADING, EYEBROWS, EYEBROW-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, ZOE-MILAN, ZOE-GILLESPIE,11For many, filling, grooming, and even professionally altering their eyebrows is simply an effort at enhancing their natural brows and overall appearance. But, for those, like Alexandra Martell, who suffer from alopecia and other conditions that result in hair loss, the new permanent eyebrow trend has been a life changer. Martell shared with Cosmopolitan how permanent makeup changed her eyebrows and her life for the better.

Suffering from alopecia meant Martell had to spend several minutes a day drawing on and filling in her eyebrows, long before Cara Delevingne made statement eyebrows cool. Though she had toyed with the idea of permanent makeup in the past, the recent advancements in permanent eyebrow altering techniques, namely micropigmentation and microblading, encouraged Martell to take a leap of faith.

After some research, she made an appointment with Amy Kernahan, a permanent makeup artist located in New York City. At the consultation, Kernahan explained that permanent makeup is not actually permanent, because unlike regular tattoo artists, permanent makeup artists use thicker, less concentrated pigments. The makeup will fade over time, much more prominently than a typical tattoo, eventually becoming barely visible.

Like Kernahan, most professional permanent makeup artists will begin by drawing a new eyebrow shape on in regular makeup, making adjustments as needed until the client is happy with his or her new brows. Once the client and artist are both pleased with the shape, the real procedure will begin. Both micropigmentation and microblading take about an hour, but total time will vary from artist to artist.

The procedures have been described as being slightly less painful than a normal tattoo. Most permanent makeup artists will apply a numbing cream to the area, but you will likely still feel some slight discomfort. After the initial procedure, the most important advice to take away from your artist is to allow the area to heal, as picking and scratching at the dry, scabby area can lead to uneven healing and an uneven appearance. For Martell, this was the most difficult part of the process.

After the initial procedure, you will need to return back to your artist in about four to six weeks for a touch up. This is important, because the artist will be able to fill in any gaps and make slight adjustments to perfect your brows. In Martell’s case, Kernahan took her brows a shade darker. The second procedure is followed by another week of healing, and then your new brows are complete. Martell stressed the importance of moisturizing the area and wearing sunscreen daily.

For Martell, like many women today, permanent eyebrow makeup vamped up her look, but unlike most, Martell experienced a renewed sense of confidence that her brows looked natural and were really there. She no longer has to worry about her brows smudging or wiping off, and said, “I can just live my life now,” all thanks to permanent eyebrow makeup. Up Your Eyebrow Game with Micro Color Infusion

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, MICROBLADING, EYEBROWS, EYEBROW-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, ZOE-MILAN, ZOE-GILLESPIE,6For many women, it has been a difficult transition from the over-tweezed thin brows of the past to today’s thick, bold brow trend. Though there are tons of products to help fill brows and create a fuller look, these aren’t permanent solutions, and might not even last throughout the day.

So what’s the answer? A semi-permanent cosmetic treatment called micro color infusion is growing in popularity and transforming brows daily.

The micro color infusion process allows you to “naturally restore, reshape, or create nonexistent eyebrows in a realistic way,” said Dominique Bossavy, a semi-permanent makeup specialist. Though technically the process is a form of tattooing, for micro color infusion, instead of traditional tattoo dye, artists use quality pigments, which fade naturally and are implanted closer to the surface of the skin than tattoo dyes.

Most semi-permanent makeup artists begin the process by numbing the area with a numbing cream to reduce discomfort. Then, the artist will use a tool with several tiny needles at the end, to carefully draw hair-like strokes along your natural brow line. Pain levels vary from person to person, but most report that the process is relatively painless. The entire process takes about 30 minutes, but may last slightly longer, depending on your brows, the salon, and the artist. To achieve your desired result, you’ll likely need to visit the artist for several installments, usually two to three.

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, MICROBLADING, EYEBROWS, EYEBROW-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, ZOE-MILAN, ZOE-GILLESPIE,9Directly after just one treatment, brows will be slightly darker and more defined. The redness from the procedure will fade relatively quickly, so that you can go out the same evening without feeling self-conscious. Rest assured, that as long as you visit a trained professional, your brows will look natural immediately following the treatment.

Micro color infusion treatments are certainly more costly than waxing or threading, but following the treatment your eyebrows will be very low maintenance and your makeup routine will be significantly shorter, requiring no eyebrow products and for many, less eye makeup than before.
After treatments, be sure to keep the arches of your brows moisturized to avoid flaking during the healing process. Then, expected natural and gradual fading over about a year’s time, before you will need to “renew” you micro color infused brows. For some, after the few initial treatments, results last even longer than a year. The fading process in general depends on skin type, lifestyle, and medical conditions. One of the most important steps in maintaining your new brows is using SPF daily, as the sun substantially expedites the fading process.

A face tattoo might sound like an extreme measure to take in grooming your eyebrows, but those in the beauty industry and everyday eyebrow gurus expect this process to soon become just another part of the cosmetic routine. For more information regarding micro color infusion, [Click Here].

Treat Your Sunburn the Healthy Way

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, MICROBLADING, EYEBROWS, EYEBROW-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, ZOE-MILAN, ZOE-GILLESPIE,5Nobody loves sunshine like Floridians do. Despite all that we’ve heard about high UV indexes and the importance of blocking out the sun’s harmful rays with high doses of SPF, sunburns happen. Gear up for summer with these pro tips on hiding tan lines, concealing a vibrant burn, and easing the pain of too much time spent under the sun.

After a sunburn, your first order of business is typically to reduce pain. Dermatologist Dr. Tsippora Shainhouse recommends taking an anti-inflammatory, like ibuprofen or aspirin, as soon as you realize you are burnt. Take one every six hours thereafter. An anti-inflammatory will not only reduce pain, but can actually help with redness as well.

To help red and inflamed skin, Dr. Shainhouse recommends applying a thin layer of hydrocortisone cream two to three times a day, followed by a cool compress, and chilled aloe vera gel. For a cheap and natural compress, Dr. Shainehouse recommends, “Boil up a kettle of water and pour it into a bowl with two to four tea bags. Black tea works best, but green tea can help too. Let it steep and cool.” Apply this liquid to the sunburned area.

With the pain under control, focus your attention on reducing peeling. “Oce the healing skin starts to shed, use a gentle moisturizer,” Dr. Shainhouse recommends. “Consider ingredients like coconut and Shea butter to moisturize and ingredients like ceramides to help repair the broken skin barrier.” Unless you have hypersensitive skin, exfoliating is also recommended to help speed up the peeling process.

Though covering up your burn might not be your primary concern, it can certainly help keep your confidence up after too much sun exposure. Applying a moisturizer before makeup is of utmost importance, then apply sheer lightweight layers of makeup to prevent a cakey look.

“To downplay a sunburn, pick a yellow toned-foundation,” said Sonia Kashuk, makeup artist and beauty entrepreneur. Kashuk also suggests applying a darker shade of high coverage foundation and bronzer to blend the red tones of your skin with the yellow tones of the makeup. You can use similar techniques on other areas of your body to reduce the appearance of redness.

Remember that avoiding burns is not just important to your appearance, but is crucial to your health. In the summer months especially, apply a high SPF sunscreen at regular intervals and shade yourself when necessary to avoid sunburns and achieve a healthy, bronzed glow. Natural, Bright Makeup Looks are Here for Summer

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, MICROBLADING, EYEBROWS, EYEBROW-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, ZOE-MILAN, ZOE-GILLESPIE,1The latest eye makeup trends are taking us back to the basics. Thicker brows mean less frequent brow grooming, and bright, open eyes mean ditching the eyeliner. Kristen Fisher, the Director of Sydney’s premier eyebrow salon Kristen Fisher Eyebrows, shed some light on how she keeps her celebrity clients looking fresh and trendy.

Fisher’s most important tip for those in search of the perfect brow look is to let your brows grow. “Growing out your brows takes patience, but in most cases, it is definitely worth it,” she said. “You end up with a fuller, bushier brow which gives your brow artist a lot more room to move when shaping your brows.” As you allow your brows to grow, Fisher recommends filling them in with a brow powder and applying concealer below the brow to cover up any stray hairs.

One benefit to letting your brows grow out is that their natural shape will emerge. Though bold, Cara Delevigne-style brows are all the rage right now, Fisher warns that not every face was made to sport such big brows. Most of us simply look our best when we adhere to our natural brow shape, and a professional brow artist can help shape your brows in a way that are most suitable for your facial structure and size.

If you’ve tried letting your brows grow, but have achieved the look you desire, Fisher suggests opting for a semi-permanent fix, like microblading. Microblading, according to Fisher looks very natural and is a virtually pain-free process. “This is where we use a hypo-allergenic pigment and a super fine blade to create fine, hair-like strokes, which mimic your own hairs to create a fuller brow that won’t wash off,” she said.

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, MICROBLADING, EYEBROWS, EYEBROW-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, ZOE-MILAN, ZOE-GILLESPIE, 3Fisher thinks the best way to accentuate a well-groomed pair of brows, is by opening up the eyes beneath the brows. One way to make your eyes appear more open and bright is a lash lift. “We lift the lashes from the root using a silicone pad so we get as much lift as possible. We tint them so they are super dark as well—you won’t need to wear makeup after this treatment,” Fisher said.

Heavy-handed contoured looks have been replaced by natural, barely-there makeup, and a thick, lifted lash will help you avoid extra makeup. In addition to lifting the lashes, Fisher suggests going without eyeliner or using a lighter shade than normal to create an even brighter and more natural eye look. How to Create Zendaya’s A-List Brow Look

ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, MICROBLADING, EYEBROWS, EYEBROW-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, ZOE-MILAN, ZOE-GILLESPIE-5Allan Avendaño is a celebrity makeup artist who has worked with some of today’s hottest stars, like Gigi Hadid and Sarah Hyland. Avendaño confessed that singer Zendaya has had a serious impact on the way he does his clients’ brows.

Zendaya and Avendaño have worked together for more than five years. Their relationship is made stronger by the fact that he understands and supports the singer’s constantly changing style and beauty choices. “People feel like they’re growing with her,” Avendaño said. “Her fans are growing with her. She’s setting trends for people her age.”

Avendaño said Zendaya is confident and comfortable playing around with makeup, because she knows she can achieve unique looks that will both make a statement and inspire her fans. Zendaya has gotten so talented and confident in her technique, that she even does her own makeup for red carpet events now, according to Avendaño.

Though the young star is talented in all facets of beauty, Avendaño says it is her brows that really set her look apart. “She’s known as a brow queen,” he added.

The makeup artist, who also works with Bella Thorne and Ashley Madekwe, shared some inside tips and tricks for achieving Zendaya’s signature brow look. Avendaño suggests that you first and foremost understand the shape of your eyes. Knowing whether you eyes are oval, almond, or any shape in between, will help you to determine where your brows should start and where they should end. This is part of the process Zendaya has mastered.

The singer uses both pencils and powders to achieve her full, bold brow look. “She taught me how to create the shape with a really fine-point brow pencil and draw little swipes to mimic the look of hair,” Avendaño said. Then, use the powder to fill in any spots that still look bare. Zendaya coats her brow with a wax before using a spoolie to set everything in place.ZOE-MILAN-STUDIOS, MICROBLADING, EYEBROWS, EYEBROW-MAKEUP, PERMANENT-MAKEUP, ZOE-MILAN, ZOE-GILLESPIE-6

The star’s final step is to emphasize the arches of her brows with a tinted brow gel. “It’ll coat the hairs with a hint of darkness, so it makes things look fuller but not overpowering,” Avendaño said.

Zendaya acknowledges that she is not the only young celebrity playing with makeup and trying different techniques. She hopes that her changing style and bold looks encourage her fans to try whatever they feel looks best on them. For more information on the microblading services available at Zoe Milan Studios, visit today! Pro Tips for Achieving Your Best Brows

It seems like thick, bold brows are here to stay. The trend that has trickled down from the fashion industry to do-it-yourselfers is prompting companies to flood the cosmetic industry with new and improved brow products, ranging from high-end to drug store quality.PERMANENT-MAKEUP, ZOE-MILAN, ZOE-GILLESPIE-1

The look can be tricky to pull off, but with help from some of the best makeup professionals in the world, dive into the world of bold brows.

Brett Freedman, celebrity makeup artist, shed some light on the biggest mistake he sees in DIY brow enhancement. “Fuller brows feel younger and fresher. The biggest mistake gals make is taking too much from the arch and then, in an effort to make the arch bigger, go too far in toward the front of the brow,” he said. Freedman has groomed brows of stars like Brooke Shields, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Camilla Belle, and Reba McEntire. He recently launched his own line of tweezers, pencils, and gels, available through Sephora.

If you aren’t totally comfortable with shaping brows, Freedman suggests starting by plucking the very obvious hairs “…in between the eyes, the low hairs on the underside of the brow, and the fluttery sprigs that go from end up to temple.” Former Pittsburgh Steelers tight end and brow entrepreneur, Chris Kolodziejki, suggests following this step with a brow stencil. Kolodziejkl said, “Stencils are a great tool if you are unable to freehand the perfect brow.”

Grooming is an important part in achieving your perfect brow look, but the right product can take your brows a long way. The ultimate goal in selecting brow products is finding those that help you to create the most natural-looking brows.

Makeup pros provided their top three suggestions for creating a natural and bold brow. The Glo Professional Brow Kit is a one-stop shop for achieving your best brow. The kit costs $48 and includes four brow pencils, a brow quad, spoolie brush, brow wax, tweezers, a highlighter, and an angled brush. At around $25, the BECCA PERMANENT-MAKEUP, ZOE-MILAN, ZOE-GILLESPIEShadow and Light Brow Contour Mousse includes two shades to both fill in gaps and highlight. The Laser Brow from the Brett Brow Collection is perfect for those in search of a more low-maintenance option; the taupe precision pencil can be used for touching up and defining brows.

From New York City, to the Midwest, the West Coast, and everywhere in between, brow experts are setting up shop to help you achieve your best and boldest brow. If you feel nervous visiting a new brow tech, search for their work on the internet or set up a pre-appointment consultation.
